Luxurious, 4-person holiday home with sauna and hot tub or bubble bath on the Veluwe

In the middle of the Veluwe forests, in the cosy village of Wekerom, you will find Park Berkenrhode - a place where comfort and nature come together. Whether you wake up to birds singing or the first rays of sunshine on the terrace, here you will experience the tranquillity of outdoor life without compromising on luxury. At the park itself, everything has been thought of. Take a dip in the heated outdoor pool, or enjoy a good dinner in the atmospheric Grand Café. For the children, there are playgrounds and a fun entertainment programme during school holidays. And with bike rental at the park, you can explore the Veluwe in no time. Explore De Hoge Veluwe National Park, visit the famous Kröller-Müller Museum or discover charming villages and castles nearby. A nice detail: the Veluwe is one of the most biodiverse areas in the Netherlands. With a bit of luck, you might spot a red deer, wild boar or even a fox during an evening walk.

Layout

This comfortable Lodge is fully equipped and can accommodate four people. The cosy living room is equipped with an electric fireplace and a TV - ideal for relaxing after an active day. The modern open-plan kitchen has all the necessary appliances, including an induction hob, dishwasher, combination microwave and fridge-freezer. There are two bedrooms: one with twin beds side by side and one with twin beds - suitable for couples, friends or families alike. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with water-saving shower head and a toilet. Outside you will enjoy a furnished terrace, where you can fully unwind in the private sauna and hot tub or hot tub. Naturally, there is also private parking at the Lodge. For extra comfort, the accommodation has electric heating in the bedrooms and bathroom, as well as air conditioning that ensures a pleasant indoor climate in the hot and cold months.

Particularities

  • This holiday home includes a hot tub or hot tub. Both allow you to relax, but work in different ways: The hot tub is electrically heated and therefore takes at least 24 hours to warm up. For this reason, the hot tub cannot be used on your arrival and departure days. The bubble bath has been cleaned and refilled before your arrival. If you have any doubts about the quality of the water during your stay, please report to reception. You must light the hot tub yourself, for which you will receive instructions in advance. It takes 3 to 4 hours to heat the hot tub, for which you need to be present. For this reason the hot tub cannot be used on your arrival and departure days. If you have any doubts about the water quality during your stay, you can change the hot tub yourself. You will receive instructions for this too.
  • The interior/exterior of these holiday homes may differ.
  • Gourmet and fondue are not allowed in the holiday homes.
  • The guarantee fund is a compulsory contribution for the risk of damage.
  • The heated outdoor pool is open from April to September. Earlier opening or later closing is weather-dependent.
  • Children up to 11 years do not pay tourist tax. If you are booking with child(ren) under 12, please indicate this in the comments field during the booking process.

Location and surroundings

Wekerom, Gelderland

Wekerom is a village in Gelderland, in the Veluwe region. As such, there is plenty to do in the area. Visit the Dutch Tile Museum. Here you will learn all about special wall tiles and tile pictures. From the late Middle Ages to contemporary ceramics: everything is covered. At Otterlo Events, you can also go on a 4x4 safari: drive in a tough all-terrain vehicle and enjoy the most beautiful places the Veluwe has to offer. Want to discover nature, but prefer walking? Then the special 12-kilometre Klompenpad 'Beek- en Bultpad' is just the thing for you! After a pleasant day, enjoy a snack and a drink at one of the many restaurants or cafés.
