5 person luxury Lodge with Hot tub on a vacation park in the Veluwe

Experience peace, comfort and nature in this attractive five-person Heath Lodge at Holiday Park Berkenrhode. This detached lodge is suitable for five people and features modern furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a cosy seating area. Outside, you will enjoy a spacious terrace as well as your own hot tub - ideal for relaxing after a day outdoors. There is plenty to do on the park itself. Take a refreshing dip in the heated outdoor swimming pool, enjoy a bite to eat and a drink at Le Grand Café or let the children run wild in the playground or the adventurous natural play forest. Feel like going out? Rent a bike or e-chopper at the park and explore the beautiful Veluwe. The park is located right on the edge of National Park De Hoge Veluwe. Perfect for long walks, cycling trips or a visit to the Kröller-Müller Museum. Cities such as Arnhem and Apeldoorn are also nearby, for a cultural or fun day out.

Layout

The Lodge has a spacious and cosy living room with an electric ambient fireplace and a Smart TV with streaming function - ideal for a relaxing evening. The luxurious open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, including an induction hob, dishwasher, combination microwave and fridge-freezer. The lodge has two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with a single bed and bunk beds. The modern bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, toilet, washbasin and a water-saving shower head. Both the bedrooms and the bathroom have electric heating. In addition, the house has air conditioning, which can also serve as heating. Outside you will find an enclosed garden (fencing about 90 cm high), a cosy furnished terrace and a wood-fired hot tub - perfect for unwinding. Private parking is available at the lodge.

Particularities

  • You need to light the hot tub yourself, for this you will receive instructions in advance. It takes 3 to 4 hours to heat the hot tub, for which you must be present. For this reason the hot tub cannot be used on your arrival and departure day. If you have any doubts about the water quality during your stay, you can change the hot tub yourself. You will also receive instructions for this in advance.
  • The interior/exterior of these holiday homes may differ.
  • Gourmet and fondue are not allowed in the holiday homes.
  • The guarantee fund is a compulsory contribution for the risk of damage.
  • The heated outdoor pool is open from April to September. Earlier opening or later closing is weather-dependent.
  • Children up to 11 years do not pay tourist tax. If you are booking with child(ren) under 12, please indicate this in the comments field during the booking process.

Location and surroundings

Wekerom, Gelderland

Wekerom is a village in Gelderland, in the Veluwe region. As such, there is plenty to do in the area. Visit the Dutch Tile Museum. Here you will learn all about special wall tiles and tile pictures. From the late Middle Ages to contemporary ceramics: everything is covered. At Otterlo Events, you can also go on a 4x4 safari: drive in a tough all-terrain vehicle and enjoy the most beautiful places the Veluwe has to offer. Want to discover nature, but prefer walking? Then the special 12-kilometre Klompenpad 'Beek- en Bultpad' is just the thing for you! After a pleasant day, enjoy a snack and a drink at one of the many restaurants or cafés.
