Charming 4P vacation home in the woods of Wateren, Drenthe

This cozy cottage in Wateren, Drenthe, offers peace, space and privacy on a spacious private property in forest park De Boterpol. Suitable for up to six people, here you will enjoy a beautiful view of the forest and meadows, where game and rare birds can be regularly spotted. Directly adjacent to National Park Drents-Friese Wold, this is the ideal base for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. Nearby are picturesque villages such as Diever, Vledder and Appelscha, where you will also find Traffic and Amusement Park Duinen Zathe for a fun family outing. A perfect place to unwind and discover nature!

Layout

The living room is furnished with a sitting area, wood-burning stove, television and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner stove, Senseo coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator with small freezer. The entire house is on one level and has three bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a double box spring bed (160x200 cm), other two bedrooms have a single bed each. The bathroom has a shower with shower curtain, sink and toilet. Outside there is a terrace with garden furniture, trampoline and swing. It is possible to park near the house.

The Drents-Friese Wold is the second largest continuous forest area in the Netherlands after the Veluwe. The nature reserve is known for its many hiking and cycling routes, as well as adventurous mountain bike trails and opportunities for covered wagon rides. Around Wateren you will find nice trips and many attractions: for example, visit the Miramar Sea Museum, the Drents Museum or enjoy a wellness break at Sauna Het Friese Woud. For a wonderful day out (with your children) you can visit the ancient dolmens in Havelte or Attractiepark Duinen Zathe. Would you like a day of shopping or a terrace? Then you are in the right place in Steenwijk or Assen.
