Beautiful 2 person holiday home on the Brink in Vries | Drenthe

This two-person holiday home is located on the Brink in Vries, with the beautiful village church in the middle. Vries is a beautiful village in the north of the province of Drenthe between the cities of Assen and Groningen. The village church of Vries is without a doubt the most striking historical building, together with the smallest museum in the Netherlands: the bell-founders museum. Within walking distance Eetcafe Onder de Linden, a supermarket, gift shop, flower shop and so on. There is also an outdoor swimming pool in Vries.
There are many walking and cycling routes around Vries. Areas to explore: The Drentsche A area, and the Onlanden. From Vries it is ideal to go shopping in Assen or Groningen. In addition to shopping, it is of course also interesting to explore these historic inner cities.

Location and surroundings

Vries, Drenthe

Esdorp Vries is located between Assen and Groningen in a wooded area. Before the Reformation, Vries was even more important than the capital of the province of Drenthe: Assen. As a result, Vries is rich in history. Important buildings can be found there, such as the present-day Bonifatius church. In the Netherlands' smallest museum, Kerkmuseum de Klokkengieterij, you can admire, among other things, a mould of a special bell. Prefer to go into nature? Then head to De Holten. This is an old stream valley with height differences and a stream. You can take lovely walks here. The big cities of Groningen and Assen are easy to reach.

Een huisje om aan te bevelen. Zeer compleet en gezellig ingericht. Fijne bedden en een prima douche. Vriendelijke eigenaren.

Een schoon ruim huis.
Van alle gemakken voorzien.
Opgemaakte bedden en handdoeken zijn aanwezig.
Prachtige omgeving om te fietsen en te wandelen.
In een mooi gezellig dorp.

Het huis (= geen huisje) is ruim. Het ligt op een sfeervolle plaats aan de Brink van Vries. Alles was aanwezig, we hebben geen één keer misgegrepen. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn heel gastvrij en relaxed. Kortom een hele fijne ervaring in een mooie fietsomgeving. Daarbij troffen we als bonus heel mooi weer.
