Beautifully located holiday home for 4 people on the ground floor in Veere

The holiday home is located 50 metres from the Veerse Kreek, a lovely quiet spot that is perfect for various water activities such as fishing, supping or a lovely trip on our pedal boats. The old town of Veere is two kilometres away and the beach of Vrouwenpolder five kilometres. In the town of Veere, you will find nice cafés and restaurants. On Tuesdays in season, it hosts the historical market where the market vendors are dressed in historical clothing. The capital of Zeeland, Middelburg, is ten kilometres away. In the beautiful surroundings of Veere, you can enjoy walking and/or cycling.

Layout

The holiday home for four people is fully equipped and on the ground floor. The living room and garden are separated by a glass wall so that when you sit inside you have a wonderful outdoor feeling. After a day on the road, you can unwind in the sitting area with a coffee table and a television. The dining room table adjoins the modern kitchen, which is equipped with a four-burner cooker, dishwasher, fridge, combination microwave oven, kettle and a Nespresso machine.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double box-spring bed and the second with two single box-spring beds. The bathroom has a whirlpool bath, rain shower and two sinks.
The garden faces south/west and has a beautiful view over the Veerse Kreek.

  • It is possible to rent a children's package for a fee of €35 per stay. The children's package includes: high chair, cot and children's crockery.

Location and surroundings

Veere, Zeeland

In its heyday, Veere was a mighty trading town where much ship trade with Scotland was conducted. Today, the small town on Lake Veere still has a beautiful marina and the many buildings remind you of this glorious time. There are not only the old streets with warehouses, but also many authentic stores, boutiques and souvenir shops that are also open on Sundays. In addition, the Campveerse tower, Scottish houses and the imposing church are definitely worth a visit. A day of shopping? Within the blink of an eye you can be in cozy Middelburg. If you prefer to immerse yourself in the history of the region, you can visit Deltapark Neeltje Jans and learn all about the Delta Works.

De accommodatie was goed, maar ik heb zeker verbeterpunten: de koekenpannen en snijplanken zijn te beschadigd. Er is maar een spiegel in het huisje en die hangt zo hoog dat ik de hele week alleen mijn kruin heb gezien. Erg lastig als je je op wilt maken of je haar wil kammen. Iets om de deur mee vast te zetten zou ook fijn zijn.

Mooi huisje op een fijne rustige locatie vlakbij het Veerse meer (loopafstand). Volledig uitgeruste keuken om fatsoenlijk te kunnen koken, heerlijke badkamer met zowel bad als douche en de bedden hebben fijne matrassen en kussens.
Door de zon ‘s middags wordt het warm binnen maar met alle ramen/deuren open koelt het ‘s avonds weer prima af.
