Cozy 2 person characteristic holiday home near Schoonoord

On the edge of the quiet Drenthe village of Schoonoord, you will find this nice characteristic triple holiday home. From the holiday home you can easily reach the Sleenerzand forestry where you can enjoy the woods and heathland to your heart's content. The holiday home is one kilometer from the center. Schoonoord and the surrounding area is one of the most beautiful areas of our country and is surrounded by forests, heaths and idyllic fens. Everything you can and can expect from nature in Drenthe is present here.

Layout

The cottage is located at the front of a farmhouse. It has its own entrance and private garden with lots of privacy! In this cozy holiday home you will experience the atmosphere of the past with all the comforts of the present. It is completely furnished for two people. Outside there is an enclosed garden with a terrace and seating. You can pick fresh organic herbs from your own garden. The living room has a dining and sitting area with TV. The fully equipped open kitchen includes a four-burner stove, combi microwave, filter coffee maker and a refrigerator. There is central heating and a cozy decorative stove. The bedroom has a double box spring bed. In addition, there is an authentic bedstead in the living room. The bathroom has a bath, a shower, a sink and a toilet. All rooms are on the ground floor.

Two bicycles are available that can be rented per day or per week.

Good to know

  • The cost for bed linen is EUR 35 per booking. These costs apply for stays up to and including one week. For stays longer than 1 week, you will receive new bed linen after one week and you will pay another EUR 35 per week for this.
  • This property is only suitable for two adults.
  • Barbecuing is not allowed.
  • Pets should not be left alone in the apartment and must be kept on a leash at all times in the park.

In Schoonoord, enjoy the beautiful nature that Drenthe is known for: beautiful forests, heathland and many fens line the green landscape. Schoonoord is near the Hondsrug nature reserve. Discover the natural surroundings at your own leisure while cycling or walking. Visit the Boomkroonpad outdoor centre, Museum Village Orvelte or Remembrance Centre Camp Westerbork. For a fun day of entertainment, visit Drouwenerzand amusement park or Wildlands in Emmen. Cosy outdoor cafés can be found in the friendly surrounding villages of Exloo, Schoonoord and Odoorn. Want to spend a day shopping? You have come to the right place in Assen, Emmen or Hoogeveen.

Wij waren zeer tevreden over het gezellig huisje. Alles en nog veel meer was aanwezig. Heerlijk koel en schoon. We hebben paar fijne dagen doorgebracht in het huisje met dank aan de gastvrouw. Zij was zeer behulpzaam. Een echte aanrader als je niet voor de grote luxe gaat maar voor gezelligheid.

Echt een heerlijk huisje. Super hartelijke en meedenkende eigenaar met veel todo tips in de omgeving. Onze honden konden heerlijk in de tuin zijn. Omgeving is prachtig, mooie natuur, heerlijke wandelingen in afwisselend landschap.

Keurig huisje, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Fijn dat de hond mee mocht. Betrokken gastvrouw. Veel tips over wat er in de omgeving te doen is gekregen.
