Families can visit Reynaertland, a play and swimming paradise nearby. Culture lovers are also well catered for with trips to historic Hulst or the harbour town of Terneuzen. Belgian cities such as Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges can also be reached within an hour.

Ossenisse falls under the municipality of Hulst and it has a coastline of more than 31 kilometers. This runs from the beautiful nature reserve Het verdronken Land van Saeftinghe to beyond Walsoorden. Cyclists and hikers like to come here to enjoy the splendor and variety that nature offers them here. It is a wonderful feeling, standing in a lovely breeze on the high Scheldt dike, to enjoy the vast polder landscapes, the wooded dikes, the welen and the ponds. Ossenisse is also an excellent base for a trip to Belgium. For example, visit Antwerp or historic Ghent.
