Lovely 4 person chalet near the Drents-Friese Wold and the Fochteloërveen

This cozy four-person chalet is located in a quiet holiday park on the border of Friesland and Drenthe, near Oosterwolde and Appelscha. Nearby are beautiful nature reserves. A road runs along the park to a unique piece of untouched nature; the Fochteloërveen with many cycling and walking routes and beautiful watchtowers. It is one of the last raised moor areas in Europe and the home of the majestic crane. The Aekingerzand, also popularly called 'De Kale Duinen', is close to your holiday home. You can make trips to Appelscha to the Traffic and Atraction Park Duinen Zathe or to soak up culture, the historic prison village of Veenhuizen about three kilometers away is highly recommended. Dive back in time and visit the impressive prison museum, take a ride in the crooks bus or walk through the old village past the stately buildings. Veenhuizen is part of the Colonies of Benevolence, which recently received UNESCO World Heritage status. Surprising area!

Cosily furnished living room with a dining area and a sitting area with TV. The open kitchen has, among other things, a dishwasher, four-burner stove, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and a washing machine. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed and a play corner with desk, duplo and games. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Outside a lovely garden and a veranda with garden furniture. There is also a bicycle shed at the chalet.
