Welcome to Nijeveen! Experience the peace and charm of Drenthe in this modernly furnished holiday home, suitable for five people. The house is located in the front part of an authentic Drenthe farmhouse and is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. With Havelte, Meppel, Steenwijk and the idyllic Giethoorn nearby, the location offers plenty of possibilities: from cycling and walking to boating, shopping or enjoying a cosy terrace. The house offers plenty of privacy and has a private driveway and a spacious garden with terrace, ideal for relaxing. You can safely store your bicycle in the shed, which also has a charging station. You will want for nothing on arrival: the beds are already made, towels are waiting for you and essential items such as toilet paper and kitchen utensils are provided. Enjoy a carefree stay in the heart of Drenthe!
Layout
The holiday home is practically and comfortably furnished. On the ground floor you will find a cosy living room with a modern open-plan kitchen, equipped with all conveniences such as a fridge, dishwasher, combination oven, hob, extractor fan and coffee maker. From the hall you have access to the bathroom, the separate toilet and the stairs to the first floor. The bathroom has a double washbasin, a walk-in shower with mixer tap and a hairdryer. There are three bedrooms on the first floor: two with a double bed and one with a single bed and a cot. Outside, the house has a private entrance, a spacious driveway, a lovely garden with terrace and a shed where you can safely store and recharge your bikes.

Nijeveen is a friendly village located between Steenwijk and Meppel, in the south-west of the province of Drenthe. You can enjoy the beautiful green surroundings here in peace and quiet. Would you like to go out? Then there is plenty to see and do nearby. The world-famous water village of Giethoorn is just a stone's throw away. Here you can hire an electric boat or e-sloop and sail through the canal to the shallow lake Het Bovenwijde. Also fun to go to: tropical butterfly paradise Papiliorama in Havelte. The butterflies come from all over the world and find their food in the tropical flowers in the garden.
