Beautiful 6-person waterfront lodge in Friesland
This comfortable holiday home, with the Frisian name 'Blaukopke', meaning Blue Tit, is located right on the water and can accommodate six people. This accommodation guarantees the ultimate peace and quiet you deserve during your relaxing holiday. Launch your boat and enjoy the soothing lapping of the water, rent a sloop and cast your fishing rod, or relax with a good book on the spacious terrace. The small village of Nes is located in the province of Friesland, close to Heerenveen and near Akkrum, about 20 kilometres south-east of Leeuwarden. This region offers excellent opportunities for all kinds of water sports activities, such as sailing, fishing and canoeing. The Sneekermeer lake, located nearby, is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts. Here you can really enjoy the watery environment.
Layout
The holiday home offers comfortable accommodation for six people. In the living room you will find a dining table, wood-burning stove and a seating area. The kitchen is well equipped, including a fridge, freezer, combination microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. A total of three bedrooms are available, one with a comfortable double bed one with two single beds and one with a bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and double washbasin. There is also a separate toilet. Outside, there is a generous terrace with comfortable furniture, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. Moreover, the house has its own jetty by the water, where you can fish, swim or explore the area by boat.

- The 'Pean outdoor area' is car-free, you can park your car in the central parking lot. From there you can take a luggage cart to your Lodge. There are also electric charging stations in the parking lot.

Location and surroundings
The village of Nes is located in north-eastern Friesland, about 12 kilometres above Dokkum. It is very close to the Wadden Sea, a great place to enjoy the coast. Anyway, this part of Friesland is very beautiful to discover on foot or by bike. In Nes itself, the Johanneskerk is a place of interest. This striking brick church from the 13th century is an official national monument. The cemetery around it is an allied cemetery. Nes is also the birthplace of well-known children's book author Nynke van Hichtum. There is a bust of the writer in the village.
