This two-person comfortable Bos Lodge is located on a quiet and green holiday park in the middle of Twente's nature. Facilities at the park include an outdoor swimming pool (in summer), a playground, bicycle rental and a tennis court nearby. There is a bistro for a snack and drink and a snack bar with breakfast and take-away service. Its location near De Borkeld nature reserve makes it a perfect place for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. surrounded by rolling hills, forests and picturesque country lanes. The Markelose Berg and nature reserve De Borkeld offer beautiful views and varied routes. Besides nature, Markelo also has culture and history to offer, including the centuries-old Martinus church and characteristic farmhouses. In the village, you will find cosy cafés, restaurants and local shops. Whether you come for a weekend break, an active holiday or just to unwind: Markelo welcomes you warmly.

Layout

The house has a bright and cosy living room with a comfortable seating area and television. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. The bedroom has a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom has a shower cabin, washbasin and toilet. In the indoor storage room you will find a washing-drying combination and space to store bicycles. Through the large sliding doors in the living room, you step onto the spacious, green surrounded terrace. There is parking space for one car next to the house.

Location and surroundings

Markelo, Overijssel

Twente is known for its hospitality, which you will undoubtedly experience here. In this area, you will also find many historic castles with beautiful gardens, restored wind and water mills and authentic villages. Each one worth a visit. This area is a true paradise for cyclists, hikers and Nordic walkers, because during the trips, each route provides a different scenery. Do you like to go to the big city? Then Enschede, Hengelo, Almelo and (a little further away) Deventer are recommended. For a day out in the area, the five-star route through the Hof van Twente, the castles tour (by bike), Museumboerderij Erve Brooks and Avonturenpark Hellendoorn are fun and suitable for the whole family.
