Beautiful 4 person Lodge on a family park near Markelo - Twente
This beautiful four-person Boslodge is located at the Hessenheem Holiday Park. The Holiday Park is perfect for families and is located on the edge of the beautiful Twente town of Markelo. A unique piece of the Netherlands that is worth exploring. In the area you can make beautiful walking and cycling trips through the green nature. The landscape is interspersed with forests, meadows and rivers. On the holiday park itself there is a nice restaurant, a lunch room and a snack bar. There is also an All Weather Tennis Court, but also a covered tennis court at your disposal, there is a beautiful outdoor playground and of course the beautiful outdoor swimming pool for the summer months.
Layout
The lodge has a bright, attractively furnished living room with a sitting area, SMART TV, an open kitchen and dining table. The modern kitchen is equipped with modern appliances such as a four-burner stove, fridge, combi microwave, filter and Nespresso coffee maker and dishwasher. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Through the large glass sliding doors you reach the spacious, sunny terrace with lounge set. There is space to park one car next to the house; you can park a second car in the car park at the entrance to the park.

Twente is known for its hospitality, which you will undoubtedly experience here. In this area, you will also find many historic castles with beautiful gardens, restored wind and water mills and authentic villages. Each one worth a visit. This area is a true paradise for cyclists, hikers and Nordic walkers, because during the trips, each route provides a different scenery. Do you like to go to the big city? Then Enschede, Hengelo, Almelo and (a little further away) Deventer are recommended. For a day out in the area, the five-star route through the Hof van Twente, the castles tour (by bike), Museumboerderij Erve Brooks and Avonturenpark Hellendoorn are fun and suitable for the whole family.

We hebben het park als prachtig ervaren. Ons huisje had meer aandacht mogen hebben rondom. Bij aankomst werd ons verzocht om 20 euro te betalen voor het opmaken van de bedden. Dat op de rekening al wel betaald stond, niet leuk. Is wel opgelost.

Huisje was schoon, alles aanwezig, zelfs een wasmachine.
