Cottage with open views over the polder and located on the Oosterschelde. Peace and quiet!

Rest, space and enjoy nature. This recently renovated holiday home for four people in Kattendijke is located on the small-scale and quiet holiday park Beau sur Mer with 60 chalets on the Oosterschelde estuary. Because of its location on the edge of the park, the house has a free and wide view over the farmlands towards Goes and the beautiful 18-hole golf course ‘De Goese Golf’. You even have a view of the striking TV tower in Goes. Enjoy from sunrise to sunset!

Still want to go out and explore the surroundings? There is plenty to do! For example, the house is located on Natura 2000 territory. Close to the Oosterschelde and nature reserve the Deesche Watergang, a beautiful bird breeding area. The Oosterschelde is within 100 metres. About five kilometres away, you will reach the two small sandy beaches of Wemeldinge. A lovely place to enjoy the water. Beautiful large sandy beaches on the North Sea can be found within 25 km at the Banjaard. There are also many opportunities for beautiful cycling and walking tours around the house. For instance, you could cycle along the Zeedijk along the Oosterschelde towards the mussel and oyster village of Yerseke. Between Wemeldinge and Kattendijke are several diving hotspots with parking facilities and dike steps. Something different and a day of shopping? The cosy town of Goes is around six kilometres from the house.

Layout

This detached holiday home with free wifi has an area of 60m2 and a cosy living room. This is nicely furnished with plenty of seating: a sofa with armchairs, a table with four chairs and a kitchen bar with two stools. The large windows up to the ridge make the house bright and spacious. The TV has a Chrome cast feature so you can play your own downloaded series and movies. For your own downloaded music, you can use the TV's soundbar through a Bluetooth feature. The corner kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, combination microwave oven, 5-ring hob, Nespresso and filter coffee machine and kettle. The open layout of the kitchen keeps you in touch with guests. This is enhanced by the nice bar where you can sit down for breakfast or a glass of wine. The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a sink, toilet and walk-in shower. There are two bedrooms in the house. One bedroom with two single beds together on the mezzanine. From the loft, you have a view of the large window, so you can enjoy the beautiful view here too. The other bedroom is downstairs and has two single beds pushed together and fitted with a topper. In the storage room by the front door is a washing machine which you are free to use. You can also put (electric) bikes inside. A socket to charge the bikes is available here. The spacious garden is located along a small watercourse and is nicely furnished with a terrace with garden furniture and parasol. Two cars can be parked near the house.

Location and surroundings

Kattendijke, Zeeland

Next to Goes and on the Oosterschelde estuary, you will find Kattendijke. Goes, also called the shopping heart of Zeeland, is very close by and here you will find many shopping opportunities located in and around the historic city center. Goes also has several galleries and the Historisch Museum de Bevelanden is not to be missed. Also, visit a cozy café, especially in the evenings where live music is regularly played. From Kattendijke, Middelburg and Veere are also nice towns to visit and the beach is only a little further away. Vlissingen, Zoutelande, Westkapelle and Domburg are all recommended with insanely beautiful beaches. For a day of culture and history, Deltapark Neeltje Jans is definitely interesting.
