Modern 6 persons holiday home with sauna - Les Jardin de l'Ourthe.

The modern, and very child-friendly, six-person holiday home is located just outside the town of Houffalize, in the heart of the Ardennes, in the tourist triangle of the towns of Houffalize, Bastogne and La Roche. The town, La Roche, is located in the southernmost and largest province of Belgium, namely Belgian Luxembourg. The holiday home in Houffalize is located in a natural and quiet environment and guarantees a wonderful and relaxing holiday close to home. The woody surroundings in this tourist triangle are perfect for walking, horse-riding or cycling. In the vicinity you can enjoy motorcycling and good kayaking or fishing in a nearby river.

Layout

Ground floor:
A modern living room with sitting area, television, radio and a wood stove. There is a dining area by the open kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, four-burner cooker, kettle, refrigerator, coffee machine and a toaster. Garden doors to the terrace. One bedroom with two box-spring beds. A bathroom with bath and separate toilet.

An open staircase to the first floor:
Two bedrooms with two box spring beds each.

Outside:
Enclosed garden with terrace and garden furniture and a barbecue.

Location and surroundings

Houffalize, Belgium-Luxembourg

Houffalize is located in the heart of the Ardennes and forms, together with Bastogne and La Roche, the tourist triangle. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, horse riding or cycling along one of the many routes. During your stay, be sure to visit the town of La Roche, where you will find nice shops and terraces as well as a castle. Bastogne and Europe's smallest city, Durbuy, are also worth a visit. Are you more of a sporty type? The nearby river is an excellent place for kayaking or fishing. If you prefer to stay on dry land, you can participate in a survival trip, but you can also try mountain biking, quad biking, climbing and abseiling in this beautiful region.

Over het algemeen tevreden. Rustige locatie en mooi vakantiehuis. Barbecueën ging helaas niet omdat de roosters niet schoon waren en geroest. Ook het toilet stonk enorm naar urine en onder de bedden lagen oude zakdoeken. Men was ook vergeten het koffiezetapparaat zuiver te maken. Al met al zijn wij niet zo moeilijk en hebben het opgelost.
