Beautiful 6 person holiday home near the Sallandse Heuvelrug

This six-person holiday home is located on the Hoge Hexel bungalow park. Bungalow park Hoge Hexel is located in the beautiful green landscape of Twente and a stone's throw from the Sallandse Heuvelrug. The peaceful and natural surroundings guarantee a pleasant and relaxing holiday. Go for beautiful cycling or hiking trips or go fishing in the fishing pond. Still looking for a bit more excitement, make a trip to Nijverdal, Almelo, Hengelo or Enschede. Cozy cities with nice shopping streets and nice restaurants and educational museums. Less than an hour's drive from the German Border is also a trip to our Eastern neighbors made in no time.

Layout

The cozy and spacious living room has a cozy six-person dining area and sitting area with TV. The semi-open kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a dishwasher, filter coffee maker, four-burner induction hob and a kettle. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a double box spring combination and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink and washing machine. There is a separate toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms with two single beds each. Upstairs there is also a second bathroom with shower and sink. Outside you have access to a lovely spacious garden with a terrace and garden furniture. There is parking for one car at the house.

In Twente, a stone's throw from Almelo and Nijverdal, lies Hoge Hexel. Amid green farmland and close to the Sallandse Heuvelrug, this area has something for everyone. Nature lovers can enjoy all the natural beauty, and its tranquillity, during beautiful walking and cycling trips. The Nature Experience Centre in Denekamp and Natuurdiorama Holterberg in Holten are great outings to learn a bit more about nature and wildlife in the area. Looking for a bit more excitement? Visit the towns of Almelo, Nijverdal, Rijssen, Hengelo and Enschede, where shops, museums, restaurants and pavement cafés adorn the cities. Tierpark Nordhorn, just across the border in Germany, is also a great outing for the whole family.

Jammer dat het zwembad op zondag gesloten is, maar verder een heerlijk weekend gehad.

Wij vonden een aangekoekte pan onderin de kast en in de badkamer boven lagen allemaal opgedroogde schuimplekken in de douche. Er stond een schilderij op de grond omdat de spijker het blijkbaar begeven had. Allemaal puntjes van aandacht. Jammer dat er geen verwarming in de slaapkamers zat.

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad. Huisje was prima, schoon genoeg op kleine dingetjes na. Heb ik al ingevuld. Bij aankomst was ontvangst gereserveerd netjes, maar niet heel hartelijk. Bij weggaan vandaag daarin tegen wel. Al met al een adres om te onthouden en aan vrienden aan te bevelen.
