Beautiful 8 person holiday home in a beautiful holiday park in Drenthe

Beautiful eight-person holiday home on the cozy Vakantiepark Hunzepark. This holiday park is located in the town of Gasselternijveen. This family park is located on a large recreational lake, and has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. For a snack and drink you can go to the restaurant with a lovely terrace. During the school holidays there is an animation team that organizes the best activities. Holiday park Hunzepark is very suitable for young and old. In Drenthe, true nature lovers can indulge in the beautiful surroundings where you can take beautiful walks and bike rides.

Layout

This holiday home has a spacious living room with television. There is an open kitchen with dining area, filter coffee maker and dishwasher. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with storage room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms with two single beds each. The spacious bathroom has a shower and there is a separate toilet. Outside the house you will find a sun terrace with garden furniture. Parking is available at the property for one car. The villas are situated around an attractive water feature, some are even directly on the water.

Particularities

  • These holiday homes cannot be rented for business purposes and the main booker must be at least 21 years old.
  • The park reserves the right to charge a deposit between EUR 50 and EUR 500 per person on site. This deposit depends on the group composition. Please take this into account when making your reservation.
  • The interior / exterior of these holiday homes may differ. 
  • The facilities are closed from the 1st of November untill the 1st of April.
  • This holidaypark does not allow cars, but you can bring your luggage to your holidayhome.
  • The outdoor swimming pool is open from early May to mid-September, this can be changed due to weather conditions. During the months when the pool is closed, from mid-September to the beginning of May, you can use the swimming paradise at Vakantiepark Hunzedal. This park is 15 minutes away by car.
  • Due to maintenance work, the swimming pool at Vakantiepark Hunzepark will be closed from Monday 6 January 2025 to Friday 17 January 2025.

Location and surroundings

Gasselternijveen, Drenthe

The village of Gasselternijveen lies on the Drentse heuvelrug, also known as the Hondsrug. Here you will find peace, beautiful nature, characteristic villages and, of course, the famous dolmens. A beautiful and varied environment to explore on foot or by bike. On the small rivers De Hunze and De Drentse Aa you can make nice canoe trips and the Zuidlaardermeer is ideal if you like swimming, fishing or sailing. For an educational day out, visit the Drents Museum in Assen, Herinneringscentrum Kamp Westerbork or Museumdorp Orvelte. Looking for more thrills? Go climbing and scrambling at Outdoor Klimpark Grolloo, walk metres above the ground at Boomkroonpad or visit Drouwenerzand amusement park.

Het huis was prima en de ligging was prachtig. Het park is prachtig aangelegd, de tuinen heerlijk privé. Wat de faciliteiten betreft was het wel wat wonderlijk, heel veel glaswerk en serviesgoed maar twee eierdopjes in een huis voor acht personen is wel heel weinig even zo voor het zitgedeelte voor maar vijf personen. In elk geval een heerlijke week gehad.
