Comfortable 4/6-person holiday home located directly on the National Park Dwingelderveld

Holiday home de Specht is fully equipped. It is located on a small-scale holiday park and is directly adjacent to the National Park 't Dwingelderveld. So from your stay beautiful walks, bicycle tours, mountain biking or horseback riding in the woods and on the large quiet heath. Dogs are welcome. At 2 km. Distance is the well-known village of Dwingeloo. Here are several restaurants and shops. There are various fun activities in the area. A few suggestions are: The Sterrenwacht Dwingeloo (one of the darkest places in the Netherlands), the sheepfold of Ruinen and Lhee, Experience / swimming pool Dwingeloo, Monument village Orvelte, Wildlands, Day punting in Giethoorn, Camp Westerbork. In short, all the ingredients for a relaxing and carefree holiday!

Layout

Comfortably furnished living room with dining and sitting area, equipped with TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, combi-oven, four-burner gas cooker, filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster. There are two bedrooms. Downstairs is a spacious bedroom with two single box-spring beds and a bathroom with rain shower and washbasin and separate toilet. Upstairs is a sleeping loft with three single beds and a sofa bed.

There is a spacious terrace facing south. One car may be parked near the house. There is a storage room for any bicycles.

Location and surroundings

Dwingeloo, Drenthe

Dwingeloo is located in the beautiful Dwingelderveld National Park. Here you can enjoy the nature and tranquillity for which Drenthe is famous. You can also enjoy an active holiday here: there are endless cycling and walking routes through the beautiful woods and heathland in the area. Many activities are organised in the summer months: markets, stargazing evenings and the Midsummer Festival. For a special day out, you can visit Remembrance Centre Camp Westerbork, hire a boat in Giethoorn or stargaze in the Planetron. For a day of swimming, go to the Blue Lake or one of the many (indoor) swimming pools in the area.

Hele fijne plek, rustig park en dichtbij leuke plaatsjes, wandel/fietsroutes en in de natuur. Gezellig huisje dat goed schoon was. Fijn dat er horren voor de ramen in de slaapkamer waren. De waterdruk van de douche was erg laag en 1 plek op de bank doorgezakt.

Op het eerste gezicht een donker huisje dit kwam door de donkere vloer en schaduwrijke plek. Gaandeweg merkten wij dat dit tijdens de hittegolf van afgelopen week geen straf was. Het was lekker koel in huis. Huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. De bovenverdieping is niet groot en echt een plek om kinderen te laten slapen. Komen zeker terug.
