Beautiful 8 person villa on the edge of the dunes on Ameland
From this beautiful eight-person villa in holiday park Boomhiemke and on the edge of the Duinen, you will have a wonderful holiday. The holiday park is located on perhaps the most beautiful part of Ameland, at the foot of the Hollumer dunes and with the Jan Roepesheide nature reserve right next door. In any case, here you are assured of a relaxing weekend away on the Wadden island of Ameland. Young and old will enjoy themselves in and around the park. There are several playgrounds, a swimming pool and in the summer there is even an animation team.
Layout
The living room is furnished with a spacious sitting area with TV and stereo. The dining area adjoins the fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, four-burner stove, kettle, coffee maker, refrigerator with freezer and a microwave. The terrace is adjacent to the house and can be entered through patio doors in the living room. On the ground floor there is one bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower and sink. There is a separate toilet. There are three bedrooms on the top floor, each with two single beds, there is also a large bathroom here, luxuriously furnished with shower or bath, sink and toilet. Their is parking space for one car at the house.
Villa 2 has no downstairs bathroom. Some villas have a sauna and / or solarium, fireplace and whirlpool. (This can be reserved at preferential cost, if available.)
Availability
This type of holiday home includes properties that allow pets and that are pet-free. Are you unable to specify pets in the booking process for your travel party? Then unfortunately there is no holiday home available where pets are allowed.
Particularities
- The crossing to the Wadden island of Ameland takes about 45 minutes. Should you decide to take the car with you to Ameland, please note that you must reserve a place for your car on the ferry well in advance. For pedestrians, the boat is accessible at all times. Book the ferry on 0900 9238. Information about the departure times can be found at www.wpd.nl.
- These holiday homes cannot be rented for business purposes and the main booker must be at least 21 years old.
- The park reserves the right to charge a deposit between EUR 50 and EUR 500 per person on site. This deposit depends on the group composition. Please take this into account when making your reservation.
- Please note that in the period early November 2023 to early April 2024, the Koos Kids Club will be closed and there will be no recreational programme.
- Please note that in the low season, the facilities are open on a limited basis from Tuesday to Thursday.
Facilities
Location and surroundings
On this island you can fully enjoy beautiful nature. Rent bicycles and make beautiful trips through the dunes or go for an amazing walk on the beach. On Ameland you will find several museums and one of them is the Cultuurhistorisch Museum, where you can learn all about Ameland's traditions. But if you do not come for the cultural entertainment and prefer to look for the action, this is also a good place to be. As a water sports enthusiast, you will be in luck: swimming, fishing, canoeing and kite surfing are all possible on the island. And of course, after an active day there is time for a snack and a drink in one of the many beach pavilions, restaurants or cafes. Ameland is definitely a great place to be!
